On Wednesday, September 30, Calgary Unitarians are invited to join the Pokaiks ‘The Children’ Commemorative Walk for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We’ll gather at 11:00 a.m. at River Hall (311 8 St SW) and walk together to Contemporary Calgary (701 11 St SW). An afternoon of Indigenous cultural programming follows, including Elder storytelling, drumming, dancing, singing, tipi teachings, artisan showcases, and family activities.

This is an opportunity to walk together, listen, learn, and deepen our relationships with Indigenous peoples and with one another.

Wear your orange shirt and join us if you can. The walk and afternoon gathering are free and open to all.
