This year our Goal is $180,000 in pledged support – a 10% increase over last year. Pledges make up nearly 60% of our annual budget. They are the foundation of everything we do. Reaching our goal ensures stability. Exceeding it opens new possibilities. That is the Power of Us. We will formally kickoff our pledge campaign with a Souper Sunday Lunch after the service on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Everyone is welcome to join in this fellowship lunch. If you can provide a pot of soup please add your name to the signup sheet in Wickenden or email Eric. Volunteers to help with setup or cleanup will be much appreciated!

Be a Voice in Sunday’s Worship ServicesLooking for Sunday Service Readers Have you ever listened to a Sunday service and thought, “I could do that…”? Here’s your invitation! Rev. Samaya invites people in the congregation to be service readers at Sunday services — a simple, meaningful way to step into worship. Readers receive a script on Friday, giving the weekend to get comfortable. On Sunday, they arrive at 10:00 am for a quick tech walk-through and then read during the service. No experience? No memorization? No problem. Just bring your voice — and yourself. It’s a supportive way to help create worship for everyone. If you’re curious and available on a Sunday, let Rev. Samaya know — she’ll help find a date that works. |
Widening the Circle of CareCoffee Hour Edition Our delicious Sunday coffee hour snacks are brought by generous volunteers from within our own community - a beautiful gift that helps us connect after the service. Since we gather right around lunchtime, that snack can sometimes be the difference between staying to get to know each other or needing to rush home. Some of us have tight budgets or tight schedules. Some carry dietary restrictions that make typical offerings hard to navigate. As you are willing or able to bring snacks in the coming weeks, we invite you to consider including a variety of simple, nourishing options in your planning. Fresh fruit. Cheese or crackers. Veggies with dip. Yogurt cups. A platter of devilled eggs to share a cherished family recipe with beloved community. And of course, yummy cookies! A small offering can say: I'm glad you're here. There's a place for you at this table. Thank you for being part of our village! |

Celebrate Community at our Shabbat & IftarFriday, February 27 (5:30 PM Shabbat Service- 6:30 PM Iftar Dinner) at Temple B'nai Tikvah You are warmly invited to an evening of friendship, understanding, and shared celebration at our Shabbat Iftar. Last year, on March 28, we lit a candle—a symbol that brought people together not only to share food but to share our humanity, our hopes for mutual understanding, and the deep sense of belonging that connects us all. This event is jointly organized by members of the Muslim and Jewish communities and will follow the conclusion of Shabbat services. We continue that light together. Join us to foster dialogue, build bridges, and experience the power of community through a complimentary Halal and Kosher dinner as we mark this special time. We look forward to sharing this peaceful and joyful evening with you.
