Holiday season Fruitcakes
Order in the Fall

Calgary Unitarians has been baking fruit cakes as a fundraiser since 1978 and it is our single biggest fundraiser to support our work in the community. 

This year, pick up of cakes will be  Sunday November 29 

All cakes are $55 each except for our Premium Caribbean Rum Cake at $70 and each cake weighs just under 1 kilo - packed with fruit and nuts. 

 

All cakes are baked with the finest ingredients and every cake comes attractively gift-wrapped. They certainly make great holiday and hostess gifts and they freeze beautifully.  (I freeze my cakes in quarters and then pull them out over the next year as hiking and skiing energy treats). 

 

Please select what cakes you want and email fruitcakes@calgaryunitarians.ca your order and I will confirm that we have the stock and advise on how you pay. Cakes are available on a first come, first served basis and we always sell out with a large waiting list so don't delay.

Dark raisins, dates, figs, currants, candied fruit & walnuts - fantastic with some cheddar cheese

Candied fruits, golden raisins, pineapple & almonds - just perfect on its own

 

Mary Jane's Millennium Cake $55

Apricots, cranberries, figs, apples & pecans - great with vin santo, orange muscat dessert wine, ice wine or sauterne   

 

Mary Jane's Chocolate Cherry Cake $55

Bing Cherries, dates, figs, chocolate & walnuts - terrific with port or raspberry dessert wine

 

Vegan, Gluten Free $55

Raisins, dates, apples & walnuts - great with anything!   

 

Mary Jane’s Premium Caribbean Rum Cake $70

Mango, golden raisins, rum, Brazil nuts, figs, pineapple & dates - great with a shot of rum of course!
