Get your UU Swag!Bulk Order Deadline April 30, 2026
The Membership Committee is putting together an order for the InSpirit UU Bookstore - https://uuabookstore.org/. As taxes, dollar conversion, tariffs and shipping can be very expensive at this time, we are welcoming all orders that members may have. By banding together, we can share the extraneous costs collectively. Full cost will be determined at the time of order placement, extra costs split out among orders, and payment expected upon delivery.
Orders can be placed through Margaret McCrae directly, or through the membership@calgaryunitarians.

Run Better Meetings: An Interactive WorkshopWednesday, April 29, 2026 Have you ever left a meeting feeling energized and clear about what comes next? Or… the opposite? Most of us have experienced both. Strong, well-run meetings don’t happen by accident. They grow from thoughtful leadership, clear agendas, shared roles, and decision-making processes that honour our Unitarian Universalist values of collaboration, respect, and democracy. Join us for a two-hour interactive workshop on how to run effective meetings in a UU setting. Together we will explore:
This workshop will be hands-on and experiential. Participants will practice running short meetings, experiment with decision-making processes, and reflect together on how we can make our committees and teams work better for everyone. Whether you currently chair a committee, take minutes, participate in meetings, or simply want to strengthen our shared leadership culture, this workshop is for you. Come help us build meetings that support the work of our community—and make the best use of everyone’s time and gifts. Please RSVP to Rev. Samaya |
Looking for Hosts for our Dinner-festVolunteers for dinner fundraiser I want to organize a dinner fundraiser (to replace our normal silent auction) and am looking for people who might be interested in hosting a dinner in their home. This is a great way to build community over food while raising needed funds for our beloved community. People bid on the available dinner spots. Each host can submit their receipts for food and beverages to the treasurer for a “ donation in kind” receipt. Dinners will take place in the April - October 2026 time frame. If interested please contact me at And if you would like to help organize it….even better. Thanks. -Jane For more infomation visit:
