The Mitten Tree: Share Warmth, Spread Love Join our cherished Mitten Tree tradition and help keep our community warm this season. This year, donations support the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary, serving Indigenous peoples for over 60 years through cultural programs, family and youth support, and essential resources. Sunday, December 21 is the final day to place mittens, hats, and scarves on the tree. Together, we share warmth, spread love, and live our Unitarian Universalist values of compassion, justice, and interdependence.
