DESCRIPTION:Have you ever left a meeting feeling energized and clear about
what comes next? Or… the opposite? Most of us have experienced both.\nSt
rong\, well-run meetings don’t happen by accident. They grow from though
 tful leadership\, clear agendas\, shared roles\, and decision-making proce
sses that honour our Unitarian Universalist values of collaboration\, resp
 ect\, and democracy.\nJoin us for a two-hour interactive workshop on how t
o run effective meetings in a UU setting. Together we will explore:\n\nThe
key roles that help meetings run smoothly (chair\, minute-taker\, and mor
e)\nWhat makes a clear and effective agenda\nWhat actually belongs in meet
ing minutes\nHow UU groups make decisions together\nPractical tools for le
ading meetings that are engaging\, respectful\, and productive\n\nThis wor
kshop will be hands-on and experiential. Participants will practice runnin
 g short meetings\, experiment with decision-making processes\, and reflect
together on how we can make our committees and teams work better for ever
 yone.\nWhether you currently chair a committee\, take minutes\, participat
e in meetings\, or simply want to strengthen our shared leadership culture
\, this workshop is for you.\nCome help us build meetings that support the
work of our community—and make the best use of everyone’s time and gi
fts. \nPlease RSVP to Rev. Samaya
